The supplier is based at Hedehusene near Copenhagen. There is a train connection from the arrivals hall at Copenhagen Airport to the suppliers address and the trip takes approximately 60 minutes. You travel via Taxi from Copenhagen airport to the suppliers depot for approximate kr. 450,00 ( € 60,00).
Important information about your rental
On arrival you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the operators of Energi Campers Denmark. Here is a summary of the terms and conditions:

Please note: If you do not book in the local currency of the country where your rental takes place the payment due dates will change and
your main vehicle rental charges will be payable in full upon confirmation of your booking.
This is to lock in the currency rate of the day you booked on and avoid further currency fluctuations. Some charges like taxes,
compulsory fees, extra items may still be payable upon pick up of your vehicle in their local currency.
(Please note, If you book in the local currency of the country where your rental takes place the standard payment terms described under the heading Payment Terms will apply.)
Deposit:
A non refunable booking deposit is required to secure your motorhome booking. The exact amount is detailed in the breakdown of pricing.
An order will not be valid until the full reservation down payment has been paid and the confirmation of order has been signed and returned.
Payment of hire fee and initial fee :
All equipment plus security bond must be paid on collection. The supplier accept credit cards from Master Card, Visa, Eurocard, Diners and American Express. Commission to the credit card company is 4,25%.
Hire terms and standard equipment:
Self-inflicted damage:
The comprehensive policy covers only damage to the vehicle’s bodywork. Any damage to furnishings or other fittings – damage to installations – is not covered by the policy and must be paid for in cash on return of the vehicle. Accidental filling of diesel in the fresh water tank will entail replacement of the water tank, hot-water tank and all hoses. This replacement is not covered by insurance and must be paid for by the hirer. An accident of this kind will cost around € 3.750. Damage arising from faulty operation of the vehicle or camper van installations is not covered by the insurance and must therefore by paid for in full by the hirer.
Standard equipment in the suppliers motorhomes:
Large refrigerator operating on 12V, 230 V and gas, kitchen area with 2 or 3 gas rings, electric water pump to kitchen and bathroom, hot and cold water to kitchen and bathroom, heated saloon, 12 V internal lighting, wardrobe, approx. 100 litre fresh water tank, waste water tank, shower option, cassette-type chemical toilet, power cable, water hose, first aid box, radio/CD player, bike rack for 3 lightweight cycles, awning, fire extinguisher, wheel chocks and emergency repair kit.
Your distance allowance:
For one-week hirings you may drive 2000 free kilometres. Extra kilometres at € 0,27/km. For two-week hirings or longer, kilometres are unlimited.
Insurance:
Comprehensive insurance plus SOS camper van insurance is included in the rental. There is an excess charge on all claims involving comprehensive policies, third party liability, parking damage, windscreens, accidents or other damage to camper van bodywork of € 934 (in accordance with insurance industry rules). For hirings of a minimum of two weeks you can take out an excess waiver with us prior to taking out the van. Paying € 27 per day of hiring will reduce your excess payment to DKK 0 for the first claim. Paying € 14 per day of hiring will reduce the excess payment for the first claim to € 267. Insurance applies to most European countries. There is no insurance cover and thus no permission to take the van into the following countries: Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria and former Russia.
Hirer/driver:
Minimum 21 years, having held a valid driving licence (B) for at least 2 years.
When driving, no more persons may be carried than the motorhome’s load capacity. The motorhome may only be driven by the person(s) named on the supplied information form with a valid driving licence number.

Cancellation:
The initial deposit paid is non-refundable. In addition to forfeiting your deposit, the following charges also apply:
In the event of cancellation up to 63 days before the start of the hire period the supplier refund 50% of the reservation down payment received. In the event of cancellation 63-33 days before the start of the hire period the supplier retain the full reservation down payment as an administration charge. In the event of cancellation later than 33 days prior to the start of the hire period, the hirer will be liable for the full hire charge unless the motorhome can be hired out for the reserved period. Important: cancellation insurance can be taken out when ordering.
Travel insurance
The supplier strongly recommends that clients ensure they take out the highest level of travel insurance. In many cases this will cover any losses incurred if you are forced to cancel your booking.
Premature return:
If you return the motorhome before the agreed date, the hire charge for the reserved time must be paid. No refunds will be made.
Late return:
If the camper van is delivered later than the time agreed in the contract, a charge of € 140,- per extra hour will be made. If the vehicle has not been returned by the start of the third hour, the hirer will be liable for the cost of a replacement vehicle for the next hirer – corresponding to the period for which the vehicle is next hired out.
Cleaning:
The camper van must be returned in a clean condition with empty waste water tank and empty and cleaned WC tank. If internal cleaning has not been carried out – including washing and cleaning of crockery, cutlery and utensils in kitchen boxes – this will be carried out at an hourly rate currently amounting to DKK 525. A minimum of three hours will be charged.
Free parking:
During the hire period you may park your own car free of charge with us.
Initial fee:
A compulsory initial fee of € 134 is charged. This includes use of 11 kg gas, sanitary fluid for the chemical toilet, demonstration and instruction prior to start, acceptance and inspection of the motorhome at the end of the hire period and external washing of the motorhome.
Collection and return:
If possible, the motorhome must be collected on a Friday between 15:00 and 17:00. Return is to the same location as collection on a Friday no later than 11:00. Outside the suppliers high season other collection and return days can be agreed.
Season dates:
A. Mid-season: weeks 10-24 and 35-48.
B. Winter season: weeks 48-9, where the supplier only hire for long terms rental and driving/use in normal terrain. The supplier does not hire for winter driving in snow areas.
C. High season: weeks 25 – 34.
For your information:
No smoking is permitted in the suppliers camper vans.
Pets are allowed but extra cleaning would apply.
Prices:
All prices are including 25% Danish VAT They include comprehensive insurance with an excess of € 934 for each claim, together with SOS insurance on the camper van for the period of hire.
Reservations
The supplier reserves the general right to make changes to vehicle models, equipment, prices and descriptions and disclaim liability for printing errors. If the hired camper van is unavailable due to damage or technical failure, the supplier will always be able to find another camper van for the hiring period. If the replacement vehicle is a different size, a difference in rental will only be refunded if the van is smaller/cheaper than the hired vehicle. If the hirer is dissatisfied with the replacement vehicle the full rental will be returned. No further compensation will be made.
The hirer may not claim compensation for a lost holiday caused by an accident in the hired camper van. Nor in relation to any fault in the vehicle’s technical installations.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Please note that a 1.75% credit card charge will be added when your payment is processed.
A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.
If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Amendments
Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply:
Motorhome rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 75.00
To add or remove extras to/from confirmed booking: 20.00
The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.
Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
Refund Policy
We are committed to providing a quality service and aim for complete customer satisfaction. In the event of cancellation, any refunds or penalties are detailed in the terms and conditions of your selected vehicle that you are asked to read and accept at time of booking. In the event you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.

There is an excess charge on all claims involving comprehensive policies, third party liability, parking damage, windscreens, accidents or other damage to camper van bodywork of € 934 (in accordance with insurance industry rules). For hirings of a minimum of two weeks you can take out an excess waiver with us prior to taking out the van. Paying € 27 per day of hiring will reduce your excess payment to DKK 0 for the first claim. Paying € 14 per day of hiring will reduce the excess payment for the first claim to € 267. Insurance applies to most European countries. There is no insurance cover and thus no permission to take the van into the following countries: Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria and former Russia.
